Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the YachtGet website (yachtget.com) and our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

2. Services

YachtGet operates as a yacht charter brokerage and yacht management company. We act as an intermediary between clients and yacht owners/operators. We are not the owners or operators of the yachts listed on our platform unless explicitly stated.

3. Charter Bookings

When you submit a charter enquiry or booking through our website:

  • You confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete.
  • A booking is only confirmed once a charter agreement has been signed by both parties and the required deposit has been received.
  • Charter agreements are between the client and the yacht owner/operator. YachtGet acts as broker and facilitator.
  • Standard payment terms: 50 % deposit at booking, balance due 6–8 weeks before embarkation.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellation policies are defined in the individual charter agreement. In general:

  • Cancellations more than 8 weeks before the charter start date: deposit is refundable minus an administration fee.
  • Cancellations within 8 weeks: the full charter fee may be non-refundable.
  • We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive trip-cancellation insurance.

If the yacht becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond anyone's control (e.g., severe mechanical failure), we will offer an alternative yacht of equivalent standard or a full refund.

5. Pricing

Prices shown on our website are indicative and may be subject to change. The final charter fee will be confirmed in your personalised proposal and charter agreement. Additional costs may include:

  • Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) — typically 20–30 % of the charter fee.
  • VAT or local taxes where applicable.
  • Optional extras such as premium beverages, special excursions, or additional water-sport equipment.

6. Yacht Management Services

For yacht owners using our management services:

  • Management terms, commission structure, and scope of services are defined in a separate management agreement.
  • YachtGet acts as your agent and representative. We do not assume ownership of your vessel.
  • Either party may terminate the management agreement with the notice period specified in the contract.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the YachtGet website — including text, graphics, logos, images, and software — is the property of YachtGet or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.

8. User Responsibilities

When using our website and services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
  • Use our website only for lawful purposes.
  • Not attempt to interfere with the website's security or functionality.
  • Not submit false or misleading enquiries.

9. Limitation of Liability

YachtGet acts as a broker and facilitator. While we take every care to verify the quality and safety of the yachts and crews in our portfolio, we are not liable for:

  • Acts or omissions of yacht owners, operators, or crew members.
  • Weather conditions, port closures, or other force majeure events.
  • Personal injury, loss, or damage arising during a charter, except where caused by our proven negligence.

Our total liability shall not exceed the brokerage commission received for the relevant charter.

10. Privacy

Your use of our website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Marmaris, Muğla, Turkey.
